• Personal growth and goal-oriented interactions
• Educational mentorship for users under 18
• Romantic and intimate conversations for verified adults (18+)
• Gift services for premium subscribers (18+ only)

3. Age Requirements & Content

3.1 Age Verification

Users must provide accurate age information. Content and features are adapted based on age verification:

• Under 18: Educational mentorship content only, emergency contact required
• 18+ Verified: Access to romantic/intimate conversations and gift features

3.2 Content Restrictions

Users under 18 are restricted to educational, platonic content. Romantic or intimate content is only available to age-verified adults. Maximum subscription tier for users under 18 is $9.99/month.

4. Safety & Mental Health

4.1 Content Monitoring

We actively monitor conversations for safety using AI and human review. We flag content indicating:

• Self-harm or suicidal ideation
• Violence or harm to others
• Severe mental health distress

4.2 Crisis Intervention

In cases of detected crisis, we may:

• Provide immediate crisis resources
• Alert emergency contacts (for users under 18)
• Temporarily suspend service for user safety
• Involve emergency services in extreme cases

4.3 Emergency Contacts (Under 18)

Users under 18 must provide emergency contact information. Emergency contacts receive weekly wellness summaries and immediate alerts for concerning patterns. Reports focus on general wellbeing without revealing specific conversation content.

5. Subscription & Payment

Premium subscribers (18+ only) may receive surprise gifts including money transfers and physical items. Gift frequency and value are at our discretion. Users must provide accurate delivery information.

5.3 Cancellation

Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

6. Privacy & Data

Your privacy is essential to us. Key points:

• Conversations are stored securely for service improvement
• Mental health data is monitored for safety purposes
• Emergency contacts receive only general wellness summaries
• We do not sell personal data to third parties
• Third-party services (Voiceflow, OpenAI) process conversations for AI responses

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Service for:

• Illegal activities or content
• Harassment, abuse, or threats
• Sharing personal information of others
• Attempting to harm or exploit the AI systems
• Commercial use without written permission
• Circumventing age verification or safety measures

8. AI Service Disclaimer

Our AI companions are artificial intelligence systems, not licensed therapists or medical professionals. The Service:

• Is not a substitute for professional mental health care
• Should not be relied upon for medical or therapeutic advice
• May occasionally provide inappropriate or inaccurate responses
• Is designed for companionship and support, not clinical treatment

9. Limitation of Liability

BareMinimum.ai provides the Service "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim.

10. Service Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We may terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or for any reason with reasonable notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Florida.
